'Marvel's Deadpool VR' Coming Exclusively to Meta Quest 3 and 3S in 2025
A sick sense of humor. Brutal parkour. Full-on mayhem. Get freaky with it—a wild combat system where if you can imagine it, you can probably do it.
Today at Summer Game Fest 2025, Meta announced Marvel’s Deadpool VR, a Meta Quest 3 and 3S exclusive created by Twisted Pixel and Oculus Studios, in collaboration with Marvel Games. Finally, a chance to slip inside Deadpool’s sweaty skintight suit and really become the Merc with a Mouth in all his flippy-shooty-off-the-wall glory. Marvel's Deadpool VR is set to arrive later this year in 2025.
*RED BAND* This trailer is not for the faint of heart so put on your big kid undies and strap in for a violent, expletive-ridden good time.
Hear a familiar voice? Everyone’s favorite charming sociopath is voiced this time around by none other than Neil Patrick Harris.
Marvel’s Deadpool VR features an all-new original story. After being pulled through a portal to Mojoworld, Deadpool sees a chance to get rich—like really rich. He signs a sketchy contract without reading any of the fine print and then it’s off to visit a bunch of locations from across the Marvel Universe, battling against iconic (and not-so-iconic) villains. It’s real metaverse stuff—in the Marvel Universe sense, not the VR one.
Twisted Pixel’s spent years capturing Deadpool’s unique blend of parkour and combat. “It’s been a hot minute since Deadpool has been featured in his own game,” said Dan Bullock, Game Director at Twisted Pixel. "So we’re ecstatic to announce that we’ve been hard at work on getting him a breakout role in Marvel’s Deadpool VR.”
Like any great VR game, if you can imagine it, you can probably do it. Sure, you can simply stab or shoot your enemies, but where’s the fun in that? Punch someone while holding a grenade? Check. Take your recently exploded-off arm and throw it at the bad guys? Gross, but also check. Hold an enemy’s face into a spinning propeller? A bloody, but efficient, check. Soldiers, demonic dogs, weird humanoid lizards, creepy worm-things, they’re all waiting to be dismembered in creative (some might say sadistic) ways.
Ready for a good time? Stay tuned for more details between now and launch!
